The Medical Profession

The UMI Faculty of Medicine’s Professional Doctoral Program is the second stage of the Professional Doctoral Program (PSPD) following completion of the Bachelor of Medicine degree. This program has been nationally accredited by LAM-PTKes since 2018. The program duration is 1 year and 11 months (approximately 4 semesters) with a total of 52 credit hours. The curriculum emphasizes clinical competencies, professionalism, communication, leadership, and Islamic values in medical practice.

The UMI Faculty of Medicine’s Medical Professional Program is designed to strengthen students’ transition from the academic phase to real-world clinical practice through case-based learning and clinical rotations.
