Bachelor of Medicine

The UMI Faculty of Medicine’s Bachelor of Medicine program is the initial phase of the Medical Education Program (PSPD), which is followed by the professional phase. This program has been nationally accredited by LAM-PTKes since 2018. The program duration is 3 years and 6 months (7 semesters) with a course load of 154 SKS. The curriculum employs a Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) approach with Student-Centered Learning (SCL), ensuring that graduates possess a strong scientific foundation, basic clinical skills, and strong Islamic character.

The Medical Profession

The UMI Faculty of Medicine’s Professional Doctoral Program is the second stage of the Professional Doctoral Program (PSPD) following completion of the Bachelor of Medicine degree. This program has been nationally accredited by LAM-PTKes since 2018. The program duration is 1 year and 11 months (approximately 4 semesters) with a total of 52 credit hours. The curriculum emphasizes clinical competencies, professionalism, communication, leadership, and Islamic values in medical practice.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Medical Education Program at the UMI Faculty of Medicine received authorization to operate pursuant to Decision No. 463/E/O/2024 of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This program is one of three programs at the UMI Faculty of Medicine that continue to strengthen specialized education services based on quality, professional ethics, and the health needs of mothers and reproductive health.
