Makassar – The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI), together with the Ibnu Sina YW-UMI Teaching Hospital (RSP), has once again strengthened its collaboration with partner hospitals by signing an extension of the Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Monday, October 5, 2026.
The extension of this collaboration was carried out between FK UMI, the Ibnu Sina YW-UMI Teaching Hospital, and Ananda Makassar Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as between FK UMI, the Ibnu Sina YW-UMI Teaching Hospital, and Pertiwi Makassar Regional General Hospital.
This tripartite collaboration is part of the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s efforts to strengthen its clinical education network and support the delivery of high-quality medical education. Through synergy with partner hospitals, the learning process for students can be supported by a clinical education environment that aligns with their needs and the competencies they must achieve.
The renewal of the MoU also serves as an opportunity to ensure the continuity of collaboration between educational institutions and healthcare facilities. This synergy is expected to benefit the development of medical education, enhance students’ competencies, and strengthen healthcare services for the community.
For the UMI Faculty of Medicine, the network of partner hospitals plays a vital role in supporting the educational process and the development of competent, professional future doctors with adequate clinical experience. This ongoing collaboration is also part of the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of medical education.
Through the renewal of the MoU with RSIA Ananda Makassar and RSKDIA Pertiwi Makassar, the UMI Faculty of Medicine, together with RSP Ibnu Sina YW-UMI, is expected to continue building productive and sustainable cooperation in supporting education, healthcare services, and human resource development in the health sector.
