Makassar – Students from the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) have once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. Arjuna Datu Mangontan, a student at FK UMI, won first place in the ISMKI (Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association) Region 4 Outstanding Student Award for 2026.
This achievement serves as proof of FK UMI students’ ability to develop both their academic and non-academic potential, while also demonstrating their passion for continuing to excel and contribute to the field of medical education.
Arjuna’s achievement is a source of pride for FK UMI, particularly in bringing honor to the institution at the regional level of the Outstanding Student competition. This success also reflects the quality of UMI Medical School students, who are not only guided to develop academic competencies but are also capable of enhancing their personal capabilities through various activities and competitions.
The leadership and academic community of the UMI Faculty of Medicine express their appreciation for Arjuna Datu Mangontan’s achievement.
