MAKASSAR – The Graduate School of the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) is accepting applications for new students in the Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences for the 2026/2027 Odd-Semester Academic Period. This program is an option for academics and professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of biomedicine through a master’s degree program with an approach relevant to developments in health sciences and technology.

Registration for new students is open from August 10 to 25, 2026. Subsequently, the administrative document screening process will take place on August 26–27, 2026, with the announcement of successful applicants on August 28, 2026.

Applicants who pass the administrative screening will take the General Aptitude Test (TPA) and the Subject-Specific Test on August 31, 2026. The announcement of admission results is scheduled for September 3, 2026, followed by the re-registration process from September 3–11, 2026.

Meanwhile, the first class of the Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences is scheduled to take place on September 15, 2026.

UMI’s Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences offers a hybrid (online/in-person) learning model that provides students with flexibility in their studies. In terms of financing, the admissions information lists tuition fees of Rp20 million and student activity fees of Rp15 million, with the option to pay in installments.

This new student admissions period provides an opportunity for prospective students to develop their academic and professional competencies in the field of biomedical sciences. Biomedical science plays a vital role in supporting the advancement of medical science, health research, and innovation in the ever-evolving field of healthcare.
