MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI), in collaboration with the Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM), invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to participate in The First International Conference on Health, Science, and Technology (ICoHST) 2026 by launching a Call for Extended Abstracts.
ICoHST 2026 will be held on October 18, 2026, in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia as an international scientific forum that brings together experts, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines to share research findings, innovations, and ideas in the fields of health, science, technology, and interdisciplinary studies.
This conference is a collaboration between Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), reflecting their commitment to strengthening international academic networks while fostering research that has a tangible impact on society.
Through ICoHST 2026, participants will have the opportunity to present their research findings at an international forum, expand their academic and professional networks, and discuss various strategic issues that support the realization of a healthier, smarter, and more sustainable future.
This conference is open to various fields of study, including health, medical science, digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, food safety, and other fields relevant to the themes of health, science, and technology.
All accepted extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, providing researchers with the opportunity to disseminate their research findings to the international scientific community.
The organizing committee has set August 15, 2026, as the deadline for submitting extended abstracts, while the announcement of selection results is scheduled for August 31, 2026. The deadline for Early Bird Registration is also set for the same date.
The UMI Faculty of Medicine invites all faculty members, researchers, students, healthcare professionals, and practitioners to actively participate in this conference as a contribution to the advancement of science, innovation, and international collaboration in the fields of health and technology.
