Induction of the Class of 2025 as Regular Members of the UMI Medical Student Association (KBMFK): The Beginning of Service and Strengthening of Solidarity Among Medical Students

The induction ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere and served as a symbol of the new students’ commitment to actively participate in various student activities, whether in the areas of academics, personal development, leadership, or community service.

MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) held an induction ceremony for the Class of 2025 to welcome them as full members of the Indonesian Muslim University Faculty of Medicine Student Association (KBMFK UMI) on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Teleconference Auditorium on the 5th floor of the UMI Faculty of Medicine.

This event is an important milestone in the student development process at the UMI Faculty of Medicine. The induction ceremony marked the official joining of the Class of 2025 as part of the UMI Faculty of Medicine Student Association, which bears the responsibility of upholding the values of camaraderie, professionalism, and integrity in both academic and organizational life.

Through this event, the Class of 2025 is expected to foster a sense of community, strengthen solidarity among students, and uphold the ethics and organizational culture that have become an integral part of the UMI Faculty of Medicine Student Association’s identity.

In addition to being part of the student organization’s renewal process, this induction also aims to shape students’ character so they possess integrity, a sense of responsibility, leadership qualities, and social awareness. These values are expected to serve as a foundation for their medical education while preparing them to become professional doctors of high moral character.

The UMI Faculty of Medicine consistently supports various student activities as part of the learning process outside the classroom. Student organizations are viewed as strategic platforms for developing communication skills, teamwork, and leadership, as well as for shaping character that is adaptable to the various challenges in the healthcare field.

With the induction of the Class of 2025 as Regular Members of KBMFK UMI, it is hoped that all students will continue to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, uphold the good name of their alma mater, and actively contribute to the creation of a progressive, innovative student organization that benefits both the UMI Faculty of Medicine and the wider community.

This induction marks the first step for the Class of 2025 to continue growing as outstanding academic individuals with Islamic character, ready to make tangible contributions in support of the vision of the UMI Faculty of Medicine as a reputable and impactful medical education institution.
