Makassar, fk.umi.ac.id — The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) is introducing a more flexible and affordable tuition payment system for the 2026/2027 Academic Year New Student Admissions (PMB).

Through this new financing scheme, FK UMI makes it easier for prospective students and parents to pay tuition fees, including the option to pay tuition in up to seven installments throughout the current semester.

This policy is part of FK UMI’s commitment to expanding access to quality medical education without compromising the quality of learning and academic services.

In the official 2026 PMB announcement, the UMI Faculty of Medicine set the total initial payment starting at Rp126,078,000, which covers tuition fees, semester-based educational support fees (BPP), the Medical Student Orientation Program (POMD), as well as fees for health, IQ, and MMPI tests.

In addition, the UMI Faculty of Medicine also provides various forms of digital learning support, including iPads with e-learning capabilities for selected students as a means of strengthening the transformation toward modern medical education.

The Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginsos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, stated that this flexible payment policy reflects the institution’s commitment to addressing the community’s need for quality higher education.

“We want to ensure that prospective students have ample opportunities to pursue medical education at the UMI Faculty of Medicine. Therefore, we have designed our payment system to be more flexible, transparent, and still focused on educational quality,” he said.

The UMI Faculty of Medicine also emphasized that the entire payment process is conducted through official university channels and is integrated with the campus administrative system.

The UMI Faculty of Medicine Admissions Committee urges the public not to trust parties claiming to represent the admissions committee or promising guaranteed admission through brokerage practices.
