Makassar, fk.umi.ac.id — The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) has officially opened the New Student Admissions (PMB) process for the 2026 Academic Year for prospective students of the Medical Education Program.
Under the theme “Let’s Study at FK UMI,” FK UMI reaffirms its commitment to providing medical education that is excellent, Islamic, modern, and globally oriented. The opening of this new student admission process is also part of FK UMI’s efforts to produce professional doctors who possess integrity, a humanistic approach, and are grounded in Islamic values.
In the official 2026 New Student Admissions brochure, the UMI Faculty of Medicine highlights various facilities and flagship programs, including educational scholarship support totaling up to Rp3 billion for high-achieving students and promising prospective students.
In addition, the UMI Faculty of Medicine is also providing iPads equipped with e-learning capabilities as part of its efforts to strengthen the digital learning system and adapt medical education to be technology-based.
The Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginsos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, stated that the UMI Faculty of Medicine continues to transform its educational approach to create a learning environment that is competitive and on par with international standards.
“The UMI Faculty of Medicine does not only focus on academic achievements but also on shaping doctors who possess good character, social awareness, and a spirit of service to the community,” he said.
UMI’s Faculty of Medicine is also currently strengthening the quality of education through the development of modern learning facilities, clinical skills laboratories, teaching hospitals, and the expansion of national and international networks.
In its institutional vision, the UMI Faculty of Medicine aims to become a leading medical school in physician education and the advancement of medical science, producing high-quality, Islamic-oriented doctors through the implementation of good governance, with the goal of becoming a world-class medical school.

The UMI Faculty of Medicine New Student Admission Committee also urges all prospective students and parents to communicate only through the official channels of the UMI Faculty of Medicine admissions committee and not to trust parties who promise admission through bribery or other illicit practices.
Through the opening of the 2026 admissions process, the UMI Faculty of Medicine hopes to recruit the best young talent who are ready to grow into professional, outstanding doctors who will bring widespread benefits to society, the nation, and humanity.
