Makassar, fk.umi.ac.id — The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) held a solemn inauguration ceremony for officials entrusted with leadership roles within UMI at the Al Jibra Auditorium on UMI’s Campus II on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The inauguration is part of the institution’s efforts to ensure that the organization operates optimally, adaptively, and with a focus on high-quality academic services.

During the ceremony, the leadership of the UMI Faculty of Medicine was also inaugurated, namely:

First Associate Dean: Dr. dr. Ida Royani, M.Kes., MHPE., FFRI Second Associate Dean: Dr. dr. Rachmat Faisal Syamsu, M.Kes., CIP., FISPH., FISCM Third Vice Dean: dr. Muh. Wirawan Harahap, MARS., Sp.An.Ti., FISQua., AIFO-K Fourth Vice Dean: dr. Irna Diyana Kartika Kamaluddin, Sp.PK., M.Kes., Ph.D

The newly appointed officials are expected to carry out their duties with a high sense of responsibility, integrity, and dedication in support of UMI’s vision as a leading university with global competitiveness.

This inauguration also underscores the importance of sincerity and professionalism in carrying out duties, in line with UMI’s core principles that uphold the values of practical knowledge, scientific practice, noble character, and high competitiveness.

The involvement of the academic community, including members of UMI’s Faculty of Medicine, is part of a shared commitment to strengthening synergy among various units within the university.

Through this inauguration, it is hoped that all officials entrusted with these positions will demonstrate innovative performance, respond effectively to the challenges of the times, and make tangible contributions to the development of education, research, and community service.
