Makassar, https://fk.umi.ac.id/">fk.umi.ac.id — The leadership of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Muslim Indonesia (FK-UMI) in Makassar—specifically the Vice Dean IV and the Head of the Production House Unit (UPH)—along with students, held an outreach event and roadshow at SMAN 22 Makassar on Wednesday, February 25, 2023. This event was part of the 7th Ramadan Energy Movement (GEN-R), a series of activities regularly organized by FK-UMI.

The series of activities opened with a religious talk by the Vice Dean IV, who emphasized how FK-UMI shapes the profile of Muslim doctors and helps them achieve happiness by drawing closer to Allah. This was followed by an introduction to the UMI Faculty of Medicine by the Head of the UMI Student Council, covering the faculty’s achievements, facilities, and accreditation.

Dr. Faisal, Vice Dean IV of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, stated that given the large number of medical schools today, it is crucial to highlight the unique characteristics of the UMI Faculty of Medicine to high school students—especially those in their senior year (grade 12)—as they select their future university of choice.

During this visit, the UMI Faculty of Medicine delegation was received by the Vice Principal and several teachers. Also present was Raodah R, S.Ked, an alumna of SMA 22 Makassar who is currently a student in the UMI Medical Professional Program, Class of 2021. The meeting concluded with an explanation of the new student enrollment program for the 2026 FK-UMI cohort through the Academic Excellence and Hafiz-Hafizah tracks, which will remain open until April 2026.
