Makassar, https://fk.umi.ac.id/">fk.umi.ac.id — High school students (SMA/MA and equivalent) from across Makassar and South Sulawesi are invited to participate in the 7th Ramadan Energy Movement (GEN-R) competition series organized by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Muslim Indonesia (FK-UMI),
This event features three inspiring and educational competition categories, namely:
- Kultum (Seven-Minute Lecture)
- Calligraphy
- Health Poster
Registration for all categories is open until Saturday, February 28, 2026, and the competition will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the FK-UMI campus in Makassar.
The Chair of the 7th GEN-R, Dr. Andi Sulfiani, stated that this event is not only a competition but also an opportunity to foster a positive spirit among the younger generation during the holy month of Ramadan.
“May the spirit of Ramadan inspire high school students—especially those in 12th grade—to compete in a healthy manner, showcase their talents, and visit FK-UMI in person to experience the campus atmosphere and gain a deeper understanding of the world of medical education,” she said.
Through this event, the UMI Faculty of Medicine hopes to serve as a platform for fostering creativity, health literacy, and the development of Islamic character among students. In addition to competing, participants will also have the opportunity to explore the campus’s academic environment, learning facilities, and the atmosphere of classes at the UMI Faculty of Medicine.
