Nasruddin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginsos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, fulfilled his role as a guest speaker at the In-House Training for Clinical Educator Physicians (DPK) of the Medical Professional Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (FKIK UMY).
This event, held in Yogyakarta, is part of efforts to strengthen the capacity and competencies of Clinical Educator Physicians in support of improving the quality of medical professional education, particularly in clinical learning and ensuring the quality of medical education.
In his presentation, the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine covered various strategic topics related to the role of DPKs in clinical education, the strengthening of competency-based learning systems, and the importance of integrating the values of professionalism, ethics, and patient safety into the medical education process.
The participation of the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine as a speaker at this event reflects external institutions’ trust in the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s capacity and experience in the development of medical education, while also strengthening networks and collaboration among medical faculties at the national level.
This in-house training is expected to improve the quality of clinical educators at the UMY Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), thereby directly contributing to the production of medical graduates who are professional, possess integrity, and are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services.
