Makassar, November 8, 2025 – In an effort to strengthen bonds of friendship and foster a spirit of togetherness, the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) held a warm and welcoming Family Gathering at Tope Jawa Beach on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, educational staff, and the extended FK UMI family, who enjoyed time together on the beach through various recreational and educational activities.
In his remarks, the Dean of FK UMI, Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, stated in his remarks that this event was not merely a social gathering but a tangible expression of the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie that serves as the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s primary strength. “This Family Gathering serves as a moment to strengthen bonds among the academic community while fostering a renewed spirit to give our best to the institution,” he said. The event concluded with a joint prayer, team-building games, and a door prize giveaway, which further enhanced the sense of camaraderie among all participants.
