Makassar, 2025 – The leadership of the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. The Dean of FK UMI, Dr. dr. Nasrudin AM, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, won the Best Presenter award at The 7th International Conference on Halal: Policy, Culture and Sustainability Issues, hosted by the University of Muslim Indonesia in collaboration with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).
This international scientific event brought together academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss research developments and policies related to halal across various sectors. The Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s success in winning this award is a testament to his active contributions and the quality of his thinking in strengthening halal studies, particularly in the areas of health and sustainability.
