Makassar, Saturday, October 18 — The Indonesian Association of Hospital Management and Administration Professionals (IAMARSI) South Sulawesi Chapter, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) and Ibnu Sina YW-UMI to hold a National Seminar on the theme “Development of Teaching Hospitals and Medical Schools.”

The event was attended by academics, hospital practitioners, and IAMARSI officials from various regions in South Sulawesi. In his opening remarks, the Chair of the South Sulawesi IAMARSI Regional Chapter, who is also the Dean of FK UMI, Dr. dr. Nasrudin AM, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K, emphasized the importance of synergy between teaching hospitals and medical faculties in producing outstanding and professional healthcare personnel.

Session I featured two keynote speakers. A presentation on the Strategic Role of Teaching Hospitals was delivered by the Chair of ARSPSI, Dr. Andi Wahyuningsih Attas, Sp.An-TI, Subsp.T.I.(K), MARS. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir, Sp.THT-KL(K), MARS, Ph.D., who currently serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of BPJS Kesehatan, discussed “Strategies for the Development of Teaching Hospitals.”

Session II was no less interesting, featuring a presentation on “Optimizing Competency-Based Hospital Services” delivered by Dr. Irwandy, SKM, M.Sc.PH, M.Kes. The highlight of the event was a presentation on “Synergy Between Teaching Hospitals and Medical Schools,” once again delivered by Dr. dr. Nasrudin AM, Sp.OG(K)., Subsp.Obginos., MARS., M.Sc., FISQua., AIFO-K.
