Solo - The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) has once again achieved a proud accomplishment at the national level. A total of five FK UMI faculty members were officially certified as Medical Histologists and Consultant Medical Histologists at the National Working Meeting and National Scientific Meeting (PIN) of the Indonesian Association of Anatomists (PAAI), held in Solo.
Those appointed are Dr. dr. Syamsu Rijal, M.Kes, Sp.PA, AHK(K); Dr. dr. Edward P. Wiriansya, Sp.P(K), FISR; AIFO-K, AHK(K) as Consultant Medical Histologists, as well as Dr. Arina F. Arifin, M.Kes, AHK, Dr. Andi Husni Esa, Sp.A, AHK, and Dr. Resky Pratiwi L. Basri, AHK, as Medical Histology Specialists.
This certification serves as tangible proof of the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s commitment to enhancing the competence and quality of its faculty, while also strengthening UMI’s position as one of Indonesia’s leading private universities in the fields of medicine and biomedical research. The Rector of Universitas Muslim Indonesia, Prof. Dr. H. Hambali Thalib, SH., MH., congratulated the five UMI Faculty of Medicine faculty members and stated that this achievement demonstrates UMI’s commitment to continuously improving the academic capacity and professionalism of its faculty.
