Makassar, September 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) held a Studium Generale event for incoming students in the 2025 class of the Bachelor of Medicine program, students in the Doctor of Medicine program, and students in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialization program at FK UMI. The event took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 / 21 Rabiul Awal 1447 H, in the Teleconference Auditorium on the 5th floor of FK UMI, at 1:00 p.m. WITA.
This Studium Generale event featured three main speakers: Dato’ Dr. H. Sahruddin Bin H. Jamal, who discussed the Healthcare System in Malaysia; Dr. Nasrudin AM, Sp. OG (K), MARS, M.Sc., FISQua, AIFO-K, who will discuss the healthcare system in Indonesia; and Dr. dr. Rachmat Faisal Syamsu, M.Kes., CIP, FISPH, FISCM, who will discuss student etiquette toward teachers.
Through this event, the UMI Faculty of Medicine aims to provide students with broader knowledge and insight into the healthcare systems in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as the importance of proper conduct and ethics when interacting with teachers and the community. This event is expected to enhance the quality and awareness of UMI Faculty of Medicine students in carrying out their academic and professional duties.
