Makassar - The prestigious Adi Satya Utama Award has been presented to Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K), MARS, M.Sc, FISQua, AIFO-K, who serves as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI), by the Makassar Chapter of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI).
The award ceremony was held at the Rinra Hotel, located on Jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga, Makassar, on Wednesday (April 9, 2025). In addition to receiving the award certificate, Dr. Nasrudin also accepted an honorary pin from a representative of IDI Makassar in recognition of his extraordinary dedication to the field of medicine and community service.
The Adi Satya Utama award is the highest honor bestowed upon those who have made significant contributions to fostering noble values, morality, and service to the nation, particularly in the health sector.

The Rector of UMI, Prof. Dr. H. Hambali Thalib, SH, MH, was present to witness this important moment and expressed his appreciation. “This award reflects Dr. Nasrudin’s commitment and integrity in advancing education and healthcare services, while also serving as an inspiration for the entire UMI academic community to continue working wholeheartedly,” he stated.
In response to the award, Dr. Nasrudin expressed his gratitude and thanks to the IDI Makassar chapter. “This award is a great responsibility that motivates me to continue contributing through the fields of health and education,” said Dr. Nasrudin with deep emotion.
This achievement further strengthens UMI’s position as an educational institution that is not only academically excellent but also plays an active role in making tangible contributions to the progress of Indonesian society and the nation.
