On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, a team from the Faculty of Medicine at the Muslim University (FK UMI) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Indonesia (FK UII) in Yogyakarta. The benchmarking activity was led directly by the Dean of FK UMI, Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K), MARS, M.Sc, FISQua, AIFO-K, along with the First Vice Dean, the Study Program Team, and the Quality Assurance Unit within FK UMI. The purpose of this benchmarking activity was to prepare FK UMI for international accreditation. In his opening remarks, the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine expressed his intention to improve the quality of education and the internal quality assurance system (SPMI) at the UMI Faculty of Medicine in order to achieve international accreditation.
The UMI Faculty of Medicine delegation was welcomed directly by the Dean of the UII Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes., along with other leaders and the UII Quality Assurance Board (BPM) team. The UII Faculty of Medicine has long excelled in its internal quality assurance system (SPMI) and Internal Quality Audit (AMI); this was the main topic of discussion during the session between the UMI and UII Faculties of Medicine. During the event, the UMI Faculty of Medicine team identified areas for comparison with the SPMI at the UII Faculty of Medicine in order to improve the SPMI at the UMI Faculty of Medicine.
