Bulukumba, November 16, 2024 — The Bulukumba National Zakat Agency (Baznas) invited TBM 110 FK UMI to conduct a community service activity in the village of Kahaya, which is a village under the guidance of Baznas Bulukumba. Thus, TBM 110 FK UMI marked its presence in South Sulawesi by organizing a social service expedition at the UPT SPF SDN Terpencil 350 Kahaya. This social service initiative consisted of four activities: circumcision, health checkups, health education, and home visits in three local hamlets.

The enthusiasm of the residents of Kahaya Village and surrounding villages was evident, with a total of 114 patients participating in the four activities.

The event was attended by the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. H. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware, Sp.OG(K), MARS, MSC, FISQUA, AIFO-K; the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. dr. Armanto Makmun, M.Kes, FISQUA; and the Head of the Medical Professional Program, Dr. dr. Sofiyah Latief, Sp.Rad(K), who expressed her support for the activities carried out by TBM 110 FK UMI

The event was also attended by the Head of the Bulukumba Health Office, Dr. H. Muhammad Amrullah, M.Kes, who is also a member of the first cohort of TBM 110 and has been instrumental in facilitating this community service collaboration with Baznas Bulukumba from the very beginning. In addition, representatives from the Borongrappoa Community Health Center and the Principal of SDN 350 Kahaya, Andi Asriani, S.Pd, M.Pd, also helped make this social service event a reality and expressed their gratitude, noting that the TBM 110 social service event in Kahaya Village has provided health benefits to the local community.
