Makassar, October 28, 2024 – The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) held a gathering of the Association of Parents of Students and Faculty (POMD) on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Al-Jibra Auditorium at UMI. The event aimed to strengthen the relationship between students’ parents, faculty members, and the faculty administration in support of the educational success of medical students.
During the event, the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. H. Nasruddin A. Mappaware, Sp.OG(K)., MARS., M.Sc., FISQUA, delivered a warm welcome to the students’ parents, expressing his appreciation for their attendance and emphasizing the importance of synergy between the faculty, lecturers, and parents in creating a supportive academic environment.
The event was attended by faculty members, academic staff, and parents of UMI Faculty of Medicine students. Various discussions and Q&A sessions were held to provide a deeper understanding of the educational process at the UMI Faculty of Medicine, ranging from the curriculum and academic activities to the facilities and services available to students.
