Makassar fk.umi.ac.id — The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK UMI) held a Senate Meeting in conjunction with the Graduation Ceremony and Oath-Taking for Medical Graduates, as well as the Graduation Ceremony and Physician’s Oath-Taking, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Phinisi 2 Ballroom of the Claro Hotel in Makassar.
The Senate Meeting was attended by the Rector of the Indonesian Muslim University, Prof. Dr. H. Sufirman Rahman, S.H., M.H., the Dean of FK UMI, and members of the FK UMI Senate. The graduation ceremony and the swearing-in of medical graduates were attended by 21 students who will subsequently continue their studies in the UMI Faculty of Medicine’s medical education program, while the Graduation Ceremony and Physician Oath-Taking Ceremony was attended by 37 new doctors ready to serve the nation and its people.
The next series of Senate meetings included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the UMI Faculty of Medicine and Ibnu Sina Hospital and Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Regional General Hospital in Pare-Pare; the signing of an MoU between the UMI Faculty of Medicine and the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School; and the signing of an MoU between the UMI Faculty of Medicine and Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI).
On this occasion, the UMI Rector also presented Decrees (SK) to new appointees and awarded Certificates of Recognition to outstanding faculty members.
