The Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK-UMI) served as a co--Organizer of the 7th International Conference on Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (ICMBB) in conjunction with the 6th USIM International Health Conference (IHEC) 2024 at https://www.usim.edu.my/">Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Prof. Nazefah Abdul Hamid, as Chair of the Organizing Committee, stated that this year’s conference theme is “Transdisciplinary Synergy: Shaping a Sustainable Future for a Better World.” For the past three years, the ICMBB conference was held virtually due to the pandemic, and this year we are once again holding an in-person event. This joint conference is a testament to the collaborative efforts of MSMBB and USIM in advancing research and innovation in the fields of health sciences, molecular biology, and biotechnology. He concluded by saying, “Welcome to ICMBB 2024 and IHeC 2024. May our collective efforts pave the way for innovative discoveries and transformative progress in the service of humanity.”
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Nasrudin A.M., Sp.OG(K),MARS, M.Sc., FISQua, stated that the Faculty of Medicine at UMI’s participation as a co-organizer is a continuation of the MoU between UMI and USIM 2024, particularly in the field of Islamic medical research such as Ajwa dates. On this occasion, 10 faculty members from the UMI Faculty of Medicine participated, with 2 giving oral presentations and 8 presenting posters. “Insha’Allah, this collaboration will continue to grow in the future. Barakallah,” he concluded.
