Makassar, umi.ac.id – The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) has achieved another accomplishment—this time from UMI’s Faculty of Medicine (FK). The recipient is Nurafdaliyah, S.Ked.
Nurafdaliyah is a hafidzah student in the Medical Professional Program at UMI’s FK. She emerged as the first-place winner in the Makassar City-wide Quran Recitation Competition (STQ) in the Arabic Quran Interpretation and 30 Juz categories.
In recognition of this achievement, said the Dean of UMI’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Nasrudin Andi Mappaware SpOG(K) MARS MSc, Nurafdaliyah will represent the city of Makassar at the provincial-level STQ in the categories she competed in.
“Alhamdulillah, our student, Nur Afdaliyah, S.Ked has once again achieved First Place at the Makassar City-wide Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an (STQ) in the Arabic Qur’anic Exegesis and 30 Juz competition categories,” said Dr. Nas, as he is commonly known, on Friday (January 13, 2023).
“Insha’Allah, she will next represent the city of Makassar at the South Sulawesi provincial level. Please offer your support and prayers. Aamiin YRA,” he concluded.
