The Public Relations Office of the H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi, welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Medicine at the Indonesian Muslim University (FK-UMI) in Makassar on Friday, December 24, 2021.

The Dean of FK-UMI, Prof. H. Syarifuddin Wahid, and his delegation were received directly by the Director of Bulukumba RSUD, Dr. H. Rizal Ridwan Dappi, along with members of the hospital’s management team.

“This visit was a courtesy call, especially since many of our doctors are alumni of the UMI Faculty of Medicine,” said the Director of Bulukumba Regional General Hospital, H. Rizal Ridwan.

In addition to the courtesy visit, the UMI Faculty of Medicine delegation also took the time to tour several patient care units, inpatient facilities, and medical support areas such as radiology and the laboratory.

“Yes, we were invited to tour the hospital; who knows, there might be opportunities for future collaboration,” concluded Dr. Rizal.

The Dean of the UMI Faculty of Medicine, Prof. H. Syarifuddin Wahid, who also served as the delegation’s leader, expressed his gratitude for the exceptional welcome.

He personally praised the availability of healthcare personnel and facilities at Bulukumba Regional General Hospital.

“In addition to being clean, Bulukumba Regional General Hospital is also supported by state-of-the-art medical facilities and equipment,” he said.
